Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Woodland Tree Products get its wood?
Mainly from Memphis and the Mid-South area. Most of it is what is referred to by many in the industry as repurposed urban hardwood. Basically, trees that are removed are sawn in smaller pieces and used to make furniture, firewood, etc. We also use reclaimed wood that has come from various buildings and structures around the Mid-South and is "reclaimed" for another purpose.

Do you do custom work?
Absolutely! Many of the pieces that we design are for people who have asked for a specific piece of furniture and a particular species of wood.

Do you have any furniture pieces for sale right now?
Yes. Please call and set up an appointment to come in and see the pieces we have in inventory.

Do you do custom millwork?
Yes. We can make custom custom trim and millwork made of any species of wood that we have available.

How do you dry the wood?
We have our own kilns. The wood is dried at a temperature of approximately 160 degrees for a period of days or weeks, depending on the wood speices and condition of the wood.

Do you sell dimensional wood?
Yes. All our wood is either repurposed urban hardwood or reclaimed wood that has come from various buildings and structures around the Mid-South.
